Lady Gaga kicked off her highly anticipated The MAYHEM Ball Tour in Las Vegas this week. The opening night of her sold out tour featured hits from her MAYHEM album along with fan favorites. The tour is produced by Lady Gaga and Michael Polansky via their company Morningview. Highlights from the show include “Abracadabra,” “Vanish Into You,” “Love Drug,” “Just Dance,” “Born This Way,” “Shallow,” “Die With A Smile” and more. The tour continues this weekend with two more shows in Las Vegas.
Monica is celebrating the 30th anniversary of her debut album, Miss Thang. Originally released on July 18, 1995, the album includes chart topping hits “Don’t Take It Personal (Just One of Dem Days)” and “Before You Walk Out of My Life” which made her the youngest female artist ever to have two consecutive #1 hits on Billboard’s R&B chart.
Ralph Lauren Fragrances has announced Usher as the face of Ralph’s Club New York. This partnership marks his first fragrance campaign and Ralph Lauren Fragrances’ first partnership with a major award-winning star, celebrating New York City. Usher shared, “This is a brand that represents the best of who I want to be as a entrepreneur, a creator, and a man. I’m inspired and energized — this partnership feels like coming home.”
Texas natives Miranda Lambert and Parker McCollum announced a star-studded benefit concert, Band Together Texas, taking place August 17 at Moody Center in Austin. The concert will benefit The Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country, the leading charity behind the ongoing flood relief efforts and Central Texas Community Foundation. Band Together Texas aims to rally critical support for flood-impacted communities and their ongoing needs as they recover and rebuild. Performers will include Miranda Lambert, Parker McCollum, Kelly Clarkson, Ronnie Dunn, Ryan Bingham, Wade Bowen, Cody Johnson, Lyle Lovett and more. Matthew McConaughey, Dennis Quaid, Chris Harrison and more will also be lending their support to the event. Miranda shared, “One of the things I love about both our artist community and our community in Texas is that we show up for one another, especially in times of such great needs like folks in my home state are facing after the blood.”
